Hi

My machine problems
yellow darkening at certain intervals.
15% yellow printed on the photo.
what could be the problem?

Counter? Any OEM? Have you already replaced something? Periodic maintenance?

I removed the yellow developer unit because the yellow rectangular line appeared. It was like this when I put it back on. if the drum sees light? did not see direct sunlight

It seems like OPC drum problem. Change drum or interchange with another color to check.

Based on manual, direct sunlight will effect on drum

That's not DV unit. That's drum or Corona.

Swap yellow drum with Black drum, test - see if line moves with drum (mark them accordingly when swapping for your records).

If lines stays in yellow, would then swap back, and swap corona's. Test again...


should give us more info at that time... Not belt IMO, could be yellow transfer roller, but doubt it, most DV issues repeat more often.
