Dear all,

We have Konica Menlota bizhub c224e. We used to scan documents size A4 to email office 365 but the number of pages is limited to 30 pages.
I was trying to scan 12 A3 pages to my email, but it gives me the below error after 40 seconds. If pass when i scan less than 10 A3 pages.
Please help me to find a solution for this annoying issues either for A4 & A3

Please help me to find a solution for this annoying issues either for A4 & A3I have NEVER heard of a page amount limitation!!! I HAVE heard of a file size limitation based on the complete attachment file size--usually multi page PDF. You either need to set your resolution lower and/or change your scanning color space to black and white. I recommend 200 DPI, Fine Resolution, Black and white. Alternatively, you can contact your IT Administrator to increase the allowable file size attachment!!! Also to note, the Office 365 may have an overall disk quota limitation that you have exceeded, in which case you'll still need to contact your IT Administrator to get it resolved.
Good Luck!!![emoji41][emoji1303]

thank you for your reply and sorry for the late response.
As you said the limitation is on the PDF file size. The system admin says the limitation is 35 MB on each file.
What is your recommendation?

35 mg for email server is pretty high. most are 15 megs. set to compac pdf and 200 dpi and b/w. you can also set the binary in email settings on the machine to 15. this will devide the email in too several emails if needed.

scanning in color makes the file 4x the size.
try compact PDF first. you wont see a difference in quality.
if you scan to SMB you can email the attachment from your PC and it will ask to break it up in pieces and put back together at the recipient. usually.

Thank you again and again for your helpful replies.
I have changed the settings on the scanner to grayscale PDF compressed and 200 dpi.
I will try it and see if it will send an email or not.
I am not able to attach screenshot here

FTP or SMB will allow real big files if the quality is an issue.

Nope, just read some of his posts. He understands what's needed. Knowledgeable I would say at least.
I wouldn't judge the book by its cover(few emojis).

We had a new BH458e doing the same thing. Set to 200dpi and CPDF. and it works. 20 black and white pages should not be too much for O365!!
