Hi,

I'm having trouble with a Konica Minolta Bizhub C25 printer.
It no longer wants to print and tells me "missing U imagery, check Y". So i removed toners, every drum, waste toner, fuser and transfer belt. Then, I cleaned the yellow drum unit contactors but nothing change... It seem that the printer no longer detect the yellow drum unit.
After that, i reassemble everything and tried to close the right door but it's now impossible... What did I do?

(I'm a Kyocera tech and never have this type of problem)

Thank you!

I don't see what you mean by "that black cover". I reinstall the top side cover back in place and that's it.

Thank you for your time :o

When you take the transfer unit out you need to slide down a black cover, if this is left down you cant close the door also check the cover above the fuser is lowered.

Check the yellow IU is seated correctly sounds like it is not located correctly.

Been a bit of time since I've worked on C25 but if it's the same as C35 there would of been a black bit of plastic U have to push down to remove belt.

I just confirmed on a C35 that if that's not returned to correct position door won't close.

Maybe you forced it down when removing belt and just didn't notice hence why you think you reinstalled in reverse order correctly

I'm confused and really sorry... I was thanking you for your time and patience :o
I've sent you these two pictures because i couldn't find this black piece, can you spot it on these pictures?
i've tried everything but don't understand why it's not closing.

Thank you! ;)

I feel so dumb right now... I've never seen this type of cover on Kyocera printers.
And of course, IT WORKED!
Thanks everyone, i was struggling a lot :o ;)
