RP 3700 Drum / pressure roller jam

Hi Folks,

I can not seem to get the drum back into the rp3700 - I noticed that the bottom of the drum is hitting the pressure roller preventing it from going in.

Does anyone know how I can make the pressure roller go down?

You can lower the pressure roller with the pressure roller lever behind the back cover of the machine.

If you were take out the screws and the connectors holding the PSB and swing it open, You will see two large springs. The arm that they are connected to needs to be pulled to the right until the machine locks the pressure roller into the down position. There is a free rotation button on the main MCTL board that will do this for you. By pressing this button the machine will rotate around and will lock the roller in for you. Unless the pressure lever is bad.
