RISO GR1700 E 03 Error

Anyone know what this error is. That manual has no real suggestions for this "Call Service" error type. Printing was going well for a while, then I fed a new master, the previous stencil was discarded but the master/stencil paper won't advance onto the drum to create a new stencil.

That is a clamp error (T03. E03, etc), on most duplicators (including Duplo) an 03 code is a clamp movement error. make sure that the clamp can move freely from home to disposal positions freely, and you may want to lubricate the pivot points. Start there and see where it takes you.

Check the magnetic actuator on the back side of the drum, sometime is out of position or loosen. Then go to service mode and check it.
