Hi all.

I have a C3351 that when turned on shows jam 99-02 (control jam)

What does this mean please? as the manual is no help at all in troubleshooting other than "open/close the front door!"

This is really marvellous troubleshooting procedure by the KM engeenering squad
I would disconnect network cable and restart machine. If error clears seek for offending print job. As usual do FW thing, Initialize as last resort.

Thanks for your reply.

Already tried restarting without the LAN connected & updated firmware no change.

Know that I would really hesitate to clear all data on working machine...but that one isn't, or?

Hi, the manual is not very helpful. I remember two cases of jamming:
1. Fuser or transfer roller to be replaced. At about 135k/150k the manual recommends replacement.
2. Tray problem (but is 11-02 JAM). It happened to me that the paper track was constantly moving. The springs were blown and therefore caused jamming. Now Konica Minolta have replaced that part. See here: https://www.copytechnet.com/forums/konica-minolta/139602-springs-tray-bizhub-c3351.html?139602=#post766274

These are just my jam cases that I have had now. Maybe these aren't the problems.

I dig it some more and found this:
Models: bizhub C3351, bizhub C3851, bizhub C3851FS
Description: FFFF

A paper jam remained at the paper path when the power is turned ON, door is opened/closed orthe machine awakes from the power save mode.
Check Paper Path and remove any paper or debris
Check actuators in the paper path
Upgrade to the latest FIRMWARE level
Replace MFPB

Turns out it was a failed registration sensor. After running sensor checks in CE mode this one was stack at 0.

Well, good news you didn't have to go MFPB way. KM seriously should correct their manual.

Yes they do Ricoh for example have a “power on jam” this helps locate what sensor is down.
