Drawer won't open

I have a Bizhub 458e all of the drawers either are hard to or won't open.I replaced the lock holder plates removed the springs on the drawer rear side and checked the lock release. When open the white plunger works fine until you close the drawer then you have to push on the drawer while pulling the handle to get it open.
Any solutions out there?

I have had luck by shimming the hidden part of the white latch so it doesn't protrude as far out of the side of the tray.

I have filed the ends away.
Think that thing just develops to much play.
