    Gr 3750 drum screen?

    Hi Folks!
I'm a frequent lurker who just joined the forum.
I've gotten lots of great info from this forum in the past.
I own a small print shop and have two Riso GR 3750's.
    My current question is:...

My GR 3750 (W) Black ink drum screen is worn out.
Is there such a thing as replacing the screen on the cylinder?
If so, does anyone know of a source for a replacement drum screen?
    Thanks for your attention,
    Dana Lewis

Yes, the screen can be replaced. How many copies do you have on this cylinder?

      GR 3750 Drum dcreen:

I don't know the amount of copies on this drum.
I bought the machine used with the original black drum.
The screen was all bunched up, full of air bubbles and partially torn away from the metal end holders so I removed it thinking I could flatten it out.
It was too far gone to reinstall. So I cleaned up the bare cylindar and put it back in the storage case. I'm hoping to find a source for a new screen
and instructions on how to install.

It is replaceable, but you would be wise to have a tech do it for you. The screen does not come with the black adhesive light absorbers which are required, so those would need to be replaced too. My suggestion is not to do this one yourself.
