Sharp AR-M160 copier flickering display

Am having issues with the Sharp AR-M160 copier its display flickers when turned on. It only manages to make one copy and then either turns off completely or the scanner lamp will blink on and off.
Anyone know what the issue is. This unit sat in the box and was only connected in September.

this is an old unit. I would check voltages from dc power supply to each board. I would suspect that 24v line isnt getting 24v somewhere. This series is known for this failure with similar failures including newer series based on the same design.

what have you done to troubleshoot?

could the lamp be a lil bit loose?

are there any errors recorded?

have you metered your wall outlet?

have you eliminated ALL options?
