Hello to all,
as you can read from the title, we have a Konica Minolta C300i that has recently started to jam in the duplex with code C32-05, the MFP has less than 10000 total pages. For the moment, after a thorough cleaning of the paper path, it has stopped jamming (for now), if it should happen again does anyone have any advice to give me regarding this problem?

Hello and thanks.

Hello, it is difficult to understand the jam, did he always do it or only after some printing?
Maybe some dirty sensors. Also there have been some fixes with the update firmware:- G00-73 fix: J72-21 (Paper Jam) occurs when printing a job from a PC with A5
- GC1-75 fix: Paper Jam may occur when the paper is fed from the 4th tray of PC-416

If you have FS-533, there is a bulletin that repairs J32-05

Hi,

the jam sometimes comes out immediately after a few prints, other times it happens after more than 100 sheets.
The firmware is updated to version G00-75.
The MFP has no finishers inserted.

From witch paper tray and what size? Also did you follow procedure in SM and checked Exit sensor, etc?

I had several duplex jams on new out of the box 250i's. Unfortunately only some single jams and had no time to investigate error nr 100. Have a look on the switsch guide after the fusing unit if your paper stops there.

Maybe somethings like a spacer is needed for a betther start or endposition of the solenoid (well known problem of the 224e series)

had this on these and 368 series. it was a bad exit switch. you can run sensor ck in service mode and it wiil run a copy. you might see the sw not activate or be slow to

found this aProblemIntermittent 32-05, 30-03 and 93-10 jam codes along with paper creasing.

Solution
CAUSE: Possible incorrect positioning of the Exit path switch solenoid (SD3)

SOLUTION: Adjust (SD3) Exit Path Switch Solenoid, by performing the following.
1. Before adjusting SD3 Please insure that the machine is Level
2. After removing the Exit/Reverse section

#3 shown in the image above is SD3
3. Loosen one screw and remove the metal cover
4. Loosen 2 screws holding SD3 apply downward pressure to the solenoid and tighten the two screws again
5. Check to operation of SD3 manually
Notes:
a. If needed you can oval out the plastic holder of SD3 to adjust further (recommended)
b. By adjusting SD3 (#6 in image below) by 1 or 2 mm the gate will open further reducing the intermittent jams

Same old problem, 4 series, 8 series.... Now this.

The duplex gate doesn't shut fast enough resulting the paper going i to the bridge unit.

Cause, if you look opposite to the gate on the door, there's two felt pads. If not, shim in front of the solenoid so the resting position is tiny bit lower and away from contact points.

Yes they seem to pave their way to switching gate solenoid adjustments into SM procedure.

I've found that most of the gate issues are caused by the main door and transfer unit being out of square with the frame , except for the bottom bracket loosen all the hinge screws, push and hold door in tight, tighten the hinge screws you can get to. open door and tighten the rest.

Finally, after a very long time, duplex paper jam 32-05 occurred at the customer's site when I was there. I found that the paper gets stuck on the plastic ribs on the top guide of the duplex exit guide. The plastic switch guide bends a bit sometime in the middle and the ribs reach into the paper path.
I shortened the ribs a bit with a file and sandpaper. The problem hasn't appeared since a month.

Any attempts to adjust the solenoid have been unsuccessful in the past for the I-series.
