Hi, I have a Bizhub C3110.
it is an old machine but has only 1500 prints. I hadn't turned it on for several months and now the printer prints me strangely. When it passes through the fuser I hear a crumpling noise. When the print comes out, it is slightly crooked. Also in one part of the sheet there are some folds flattened by the fuser. The paper in the tray is held tight by the adjustment rails. Something tells me wet paper.

Check for a broken fuser guide.
Had this before and could not figure it out for sure. Made a paper shim and stuck it in the gap between the fuser and the top guide and that did help.
Also thought it was wet paper before.

Hi allan, thank you!

Do you mean the top guide of the fusing unit? ;)

Yes try and lift it with paper in the near corner.
But i would like to know what the problem is when that happens.
Never got it permanently fixed. Would return but less often...
Sure there are guys out here that knows the fix for that issue.
So its making waves on the trailing edge.

Fresh paper helps, wet paper makes it worse, drove me nuts.

I don't recall much about this model, but I know some of the smaller units copiers/printers had manual paper/envelope switch(s) on the fuser. If there is, check to make sure it is not set for envelope. This would cause such a problem, especially if only one of the switches was set to envelope and the other to paper.

I would start just by reseating fuser unit, it is locked by two levers and one may be not fully tight or something. Next check loop detection sensor and its actuator. Next set machine for thick paper that would slow speed down and recheck copies.
Good luck

Have few of c3110 with similar problem.
In my case once was broken tip of one of the fingers on the guide located top of fusing unit (reverse unit).
Also check guide on fuser unit at the entrance.
First time i have problem to figure out what is problem because that guide at entrance broke and customer remove it without telling me that :)

If the machine has been sitting around unused for month then yes you're right most likely damp paper.

Try a new fresh unopened packet?
