View Full Version : KM C284e can’t login to Admin through Browser.

Hi,

We have a KM 284e where we can’t login through the browser. It’s configured with the default password. However just errors and says incorrect password. Login through the panel is fine and I’ve also tried resetting the password.

Any idea?

As tsabservice stated above, another browser might be all you need. Personally, I use Firefox and have never had a problem accessing any model of copier with it. Other browsers have been hit and miss.

ive had this after changing function version without rebooting or changing to a function version that the firmware doesnt support

Me too! Disconnect and reattach the power supply. But in your case, log in and tell you the wrong password.

The browser most likely to be compatible is Internet Explorer. Make sure to use http or https (if it is enabled).

if you can get to service mode, do "stop 0 clear" it will bring up enhanced security. there you can change admin code without knowing the old one.

*oops, time change messing with my head. i see it works at the op panel, not browser. femaster is correct. try firefox
