C284 remove developer unit ?

Ok. I have the service manual and have swapped lots of units on lots of machines, but this has me stumped. Seems fairly simple to remove the two screws and harness and slide unit out, but it refuses to slide out! What am I missing?

They stick sometimes so all you have to do is pry the top part away from the pin it is stuck on. It always sticks on the top pin in my experience, if it does stick.

Ok I’m just worried it will break. So once I have those two screws out it should slide out with auger tube in place correct?

Yes. Just carefully use a small screwdriver or something similar and gently pry it out from the frame, right next to the pin. Get as close to the pin as possible to do the prying to minimize the chance of breaking it.

Got it! Had to push down to left a bit after pin released.
