Konica 4050 4750 scan issues

Looking for tips or step by step ways to setup these for scan to folder. With the 4 and 8 series units we never have issues setting them up for scanning but for some reason we have a lot of issues when we try to get these small machines to do the same.

Setting them up as network printers is always easy and uneventful.

Even installing the most recent sub and main firmware from the Konica website has not helped us with scan to folder issues on these units.

Hopefully , somebody can post a detailed reply as to what works for them with this (Konica/Lexmark) model. Thanks in advance.

You will need these FW for SMBv2 support:

Did you use them? Even using them, these are from 2017 and I suspect recent changes in Windows may be too much.

I believe the firmware we use is newer than what you referenced.

Looks like yours is a bit older: 2017/08/09 vs 2017/9/14.
This is customized FW which: Support for SMB 2.0 (Without downgrade restriction)

BTW, these ridiculous FW versions and limitations give a big headache before. Stupid Lexmarks!

When I sign on to Konica I don't see that firmware you referenced. Any chance of you sending me that firmware?

And, yes , while I am not a huge fan of the Konica branded Lexmarks either - As an affordable Fast Copier and Network printer there are a lot of them 4050/4750 customers in our San Diego Ca. area , many small businesses and churches seem to like them and we can't very well refuse the work.

OK....you guys are great. On a test machine we have here , I Installed the firmware for SMB V2 that Tsbservice recommended and then setup scan to folder on a Windows 10 64 bit system. Scans now and all is well. So I'll just apply that firmware update to the customers in the field that need to scan to folder. Thanks again for the replies.

I was having fun today with one bizhub 4050. To prepare it I updated the FW and sure it SMB scans to my Win 10 pro desktop(SMBv2).

Updated the F/W as was suggested here and their IT guy is still having issues. The two specific questions he emailed me were:

I need to know about any specific settings for the 4750 necessary to scan to windows 10, Also any settings I may need to change on windows 10.

He did tell me during a phone conversation all things he had done. He has setup SMB scanning on bigger Kon/Min copiers at this same account of mine with no issues.

Appreciate any detailed information you can provide that he may be missing

So just to be clear from I've read here, this Lexmark (biz 4750) can definitely scan to folder with win10?
