We have had aftermarket toner kill a few FS-1010 and FS-1020D machines, but we dont have anyone out there that uses it for the bigger machines. For something that does volume its not something i recommend. Home use i have no problems with using aftermarket toner/ink but not larger machines. Others may think otherwise though, its just what i think :)

i don't recommend aftermarket toners to my customers anymore I've been burnt by a few I've recommend. Manufactures of toner will share their formulas, but that does not mean they are reproduced exactly ther is always some short cuts and cost savihgs are used. So this is your call, 50/50 chance you get a good made by a aftermarket manufacture thats having a good day.
Good luck.

We have to use aftermarket toner for the 3035/4035/5035 and let me tell you, it is a horrible idea. We have all kinds of quality issues, not to mention the high mortality rate on drum units. Do yourself a favor, spend a little more for OEM toner.
