hi i have konica minolta c652 is not energized. i turn on the machine but no light at all. how can i fix this problem and where can i find the fuse of the power supply to change it.
please your help
Guess you would have to strip is and find out. Getting a manual would help.
There is some of the best over voltage and line protection built into these machines.
Yes there are fuses that you can check on the PSU.
These SMPS PSU's are more complicated than most repair guy would like.
With no schematics available and only pin out you can test for basic things like stanby power.
The power supply switches on in stages and it could in a case like this be something like the MFPB that does not alow the rest to switch on because its toast.
Hardly ever only a fuse but you could be lucky.
Should be at the bottom right corner on the back of the machine if memory serves.
My concern is if you can't trace the power lead to it then i am not sure if you should touch it, its got a 400V surprise waiting in a cap for you.
If no lights, fans or motors agree with allan you should check DCPU at bottom right. Maybe you can find some open fuse if you're lucky but easiest test is to put another good working DCPU.
