Hi all,

We have a mono 754e with an intermittent C-3B02.

After a trouble reset the machine runs fine but the error returns usually next day.

Service manual lists various items for this code.

What are your experiences? I would usually order a fuser but this model has the coil heater system so more likely to be this!?

Machine has nearly 2 million on the clock.

try the IH unit power supply?

Replace the IH coil unit (p/n A2XKM40C01 for bizhub C554/C554e and p/n A2X0M40200 for bizhub C654e/C754e) and Noise filter board (p/n A2XKM40G00 for the bizhub C554/C554e and p/n A2XKM40J00 for the bizhub C654e/C754e).

That's for color model but may apply too.

Had a case on a 754e where it just will not reset until i leave the machine unplugged for a couple of minuets. Then it will run for weeks then do the same.
Funny that it would involve the noise filter.

Would think that mains power issues could be a factor here.
Like a weak earth or leaky circuit.

Error won’t clear this time.

I don’t have access to another 754e so having to order new parts these are not cheap & not 100% what the cause is.

Those part numbers are for 110V series but you can check manual for 230V models. Also they are same between BW and Color 654e/754e.

I’ve gone with the IH Coil & IH PSB 240v from my manual.

Hope it helps


1. The fault is reset at the first time on site, and the fault cannot be eliminated after the data is completely cleared
2. According to the instructions in the maintenance manual, the fixing, IH coil, and IH degaussing circuit board were replaced in sequence. Replace the print control board, reset the fault, the machine is normal
3. After two days of use, the customer calls or reports code 3B02. According to the last maintenance situation, it is decided to replace the IHPU test. After replacing the IHPU, the fault reset is normal
4. After another two days, the fault appeared again and could not be eliminated
5 Finally, after looking at the circuit, I found that the power board passed through a board before the IHPU. The board had only two sets of wires, one in and one out. This board is the NFC board. After the board is replaced, the fault is reset and the MFP returns to normal.
