Konica Minolta has evolved in the type of rollers used in the trayers. Which one do you prefer to use? Do you use original or third-party rollers?
I currently use those with the included C-Clip:
A64J564201
A64J564101

Its are valid but C-clip break easily if you are not careful.

Does it matter if you replace blue rollers with red ones. I only bother stocking the A00J563600 and pull the rubber off to use the original shaft so use A00J rubber on a A108 SEP roller shaft.

I was told like 10 years ago blues lasted longer but haven't really noticed much difference

We use OEM rollers. We had lots of problems with Katun rollers about 10-15 years ago. We were replacing clutches, 1 way bearings, torque limiters and sensors before we figured out it was the Katun feed rollers. I think we may have even lost a few customers because of it. Trying to save money with generic parts and supplies will sometimes end up costing you more. Instead of ordering A00J563600, order A0P0R74000. Last time I checked, it was less $. It is the same roller, plus it includes a shaft, torque limiter and clip that you can sometimes use for the sep roller. Sometimes the shaft is different but torque limiter is the same so just use the old shaft.

Kyocera touts long life for their amorphous silicon drums but the charge rollers don't hold up worth a crap! You're lucky to get 100-120 k out of a single charge roller!!![emoji15]

I guess Synthohol means drum charge roller instead of corona like 4/4e series and older. It's not exactly foam though more like rubber coating...but sure charging roller cleaning roller has foam ;)

I am fitting the pink A64 clippy rollers to everything that can take them as I dont want to carry a million different roller types.

Unfortunately my OCD doesnt allow me to fit them to the 958 series with their integrated white double clip so I still have to carry the old A00J red and A5C tracktor wheel, but in smaller quantities than I used to.

The pink A64 rollers actually turn red when you swap them onto the black core and the red a00j rollers turn pink when swapped onto the grey core so I beleive the roller material is actually the same.

i just remove that white clip. not sure why KM ever thought it was needed not like the C clips ever failed. and if they are pushing the a64 design with built in clips then why make something that makes them redundant
