BHC654 no one touch boxes

Ive added useres to the one touch screen, checked favorites, yet there stil not there
I chek in admin mode and there there but they have PE001,PE002 etc in front of the number
is there something keeping these from being in the user box????

are you scanning to a folder, email or a user box?

sorry,
scan to email, usually has the one touch boxes in the screen after i input info,
the info is there when you go to edit one touch boxes in admin mode, but are not there in user mode when the client goes to scan to email

are you using authentication? i had a c368 do this after this was on and bizhub secure was done. had to login to account to email. think is was so public user could not use email

Have you checked in the letter section of the onetouch address book screen to verify that they show up there? I'm not sure if you realize this, but if you want the buttons to show up in the FAVORITES tab in the address book, you have to make sure that you select the check box for "favorites" when you program in the onetouch.

UPDATE: I made a quick look in the manual, but couldn't find where it talked about the favorites tab. I believe that when programming a destination at the copier, you need to select the INDEX button, and in there is where I believe you will find the selection to add the address to the favorites tab...

The favorites option on the copier screen is the same as the "Main" checkbox on the web interface on these models.

this is checked, i manage to get a Program going with thier names and emails in a button...
i have never had this unless the send to email is off... and if it was off then it wouldn't email... correct?

Ok..time to dig a lilttle deeper..was there ever any kind of external counter/IF device attached to the machine? If so, there are many settigns that don't change once you un set the device. E

HMM not sure, i got the machine off lease , through my supplier,
i thought i saw something about admin mode and the address book that you can turn on and off applications, email,user box, fax etc... im going to go have a look here shortly
