MFX-2570 System Error 9000

When attempting to scan to folder, the process fails and error report claims "System error occurred" due to "9000" result (insufficient memory). Scan to email gives same result. Webpage is accessible and print function OK. Scanning had been working perfectly for the last year.

Turned out to be a bad CF card - wasn't making its memory available. The clue was the inability to update/renew the firmware - got a failure when you got to the writing phase in firmware update. Tried cloning the CF card w/ my Konica Firmware Imaging Toolkit, but it doesn't like these Muratec cards. Took a CF card out of a parts machine - viola!
