Blackcat honestly I dunno. Dusty poly usually appears as uneven(low) density.
Cleaning PH unit may be a variant.

I did add a code error, it gave a d1 error.
Consulted the manual and followed the procedure to clean set the ADF and still the problem persist.would be checking the polygon mirrow by tomorrow as suggested by some great individuals from the group. Thanks I do appreciate.

Hi,
maybe a DEVELOPER BLACK UNIT failure, did you check it's status?
Tried on other colours? I'm talking 'bout sample page.
Drum status?
Cheers

Aren't those lines the 'Security patterns' that occurs after improper machine setup/NVRAM issues? This is what I can remember seeing that but I might be wrong... been a while since I worked on KM

The lines of shame are usually cyan or magenta, AFAIK never black. =^..^=

if im reading it correctly and this is only on copy not print and OP can confirm it also scans with these lines its must be a CIS issue surely and nothing to do with Laser Print Head
It occurs on both print and copy.we have been on it all day we have finally decided to change the printer board.
Thanks for your contribution

Bad ram on the MFPB would be my guess.

Also my guess. Had some Di250 series back in the day and other random machines over the years do something very similar and it was memory that caused it.
