Hi, is anyone familiar with 1FFF? This "error" indicates that the printer has restarted for some reason. It continues to run smoothly. This is present in the 8 series printers and also in the iSeries. Often, in addition to the Error Code 1FFF there is also the Internal Error Code which, however, for us ordinary technicians is difficult to interpret. Anyone know anything about it?
For example:
- 2201400000000000
- 1D04040300000000
- 1D0E0E0300000000

if you disable auto restart on rank b and C errors it might hang on error and provide more info. user might ring up and be like "bob tried to do x and this error occured, and help you narrow it down

hi rrrohan, these are not real mistakes. So if you disable those, nothing will happen. 1FFF is a restart that all Konica Minolta printers have.

If I remember correctly, you also have CSRC. You can consult these "errors" by clicking on History - Trouble Detail. You do this test on any iSeries and you will find something similar.

However, I repeat, 1FFF is not a real error.

so that code is just a log of a restart not a log of why it restarted?

Yes, this code only tells you "the printer has restarted at that time". Many customers never shut down the printer so the system automatically restarts. I imagine to keep the operating system clean. But sometimes I believe it restarts for a specific reason.I still haven't done a high level course but it would be nice to learn something.

I have been dealing with this code in my demo room..After days of trouble shooting and monitoring, I finally made a connection to the FFF errors with an instantaneous re boot. We had a bad surge supressor tripping power. E
