C3350 Firmware / special versions vs MR11

I have been reviewing the available downloads on the KM site for the C3350 & noticed that there are no (851 MR11) special versions; the latest are all (803 MR10 based).
However there is 1 reference to downgrading to G0851-w99.
So the question is: If I have machines that were upgraded to MR11 (851) do I need to downgrade them before using the special versions or just leave the subcontroller at 851 & upgrade.
Your thoughts are appreciated.

are you arbitrarily changing FW?
if it works, dont fix it.
its not a ricoh that NEEDS new FW every 3 days!

We don't usually mess with installed customer units but when they are traded in then we check if fw should be upgraded before reselling or renting them out so that they are 'current'.
I just want to know if should I stick with MR11 or use the latest special version that covers Airprint & SMB2.0 issues.

i suppose that depends on what the customers needs are.
what do the readme's say? id start there and look at all the warnings if any.

Very good question. I will leave it at 851 and do latest special A3GN30GJ8C3-W51.
