C364 error code e3-01

so... Sharp Dealer with an account with 63 units...one being a C364 KM. We were asked to take it under service 5 years ago. Well, we are near else end and of course this happens now. Any ideas ? HDD Firmware update ? Would need firmware procedure or HDD reformat info if one of these is the issue. One of those stressful times we all endure ..gotta love it !

Did you try a trouble reset? If not may have to format the hdd. Not a big deal. Go into service mode. You will need to load animation f/w. Also should load latest reg f/w.

It's all in service manual. I know some here are saying they will send manuals & f/w to contributers of this site. Make a small donations and someone will send you what you need. I stopped promoting donations to this site since it doesn't offer any moderation.

It could certainly be a firmware update. The CE301 is a fairly generic error code. It can be caused by all sorts of things, but the first step in the list of corrections is to update the firmware. The earlier firmware for both the the straight (C364) and the e-models (C364e) had issues with the E301 error which were corrected. What is the firmware version at currently?

Like femaster said. The first thing I would do with this code is to update FW. They(Konica) claim in almost every new firmware made some kind of instance of C-E301 fixed.

the amount of solutions ive heard over the years for this, its like KM dont even know the fix. I was told, disable CSRC and MarketPlace/Web browser, to update firmware, to replace MFP Board
