This is the worst design i have ever seen. They could of made the blades easily replaceable instead they over engineer and make its super expensive to replace.

how many of Production guys have an idea on life? are they going any where near? $1800 for new assemblies. Does the drive roller wear out before the blades?
I think i can have my machine shop make the collars and make the blades replaceable with exact same size blades.
Have a C2070 with SD513 tried two slitter units and both are WORN out.
any guide to test and verify before spending $1800+
