I just got a c659 in with 80k total meter with no issues but noticed this model has charge rollers instead of coronas. What's the likelihood of these IU's going yield? I have a lot of experience with both Ricoh and Kyocera charge roller problems.

Generally charge rollers = less ozon but also less lifespan. All new Konicas I work on are with charge rollers.

I worked on a C258, we must have the replacement enough, it sucked in developers into the WTB most often when there is an inbalance of toner in the IUs.

Konica charge rollers typically make life ... just make life. =^..^=

Depending on the environment they can start failing from 50% all the way up to yield. Usual failure is a line down the page in any colour including black and you can clearly see the line on the pcr so diagnosis is pretty damn easy. They don't seem to have the drum wear issue as badly as the 8 and 8e series. It's almost always been the pcr for me.
