KM 458e- Black box when scanning only

Hello, Has anyone ever had a problem when scanning there will be a black box in the middle of the paper?Using konica model B/W 458E.This is happen only if use for scan other than that nothing wrong.I have reconnect the ccd cable,prcb cable and all other cable that connect to the scanner unit and also i already upgrade latest firmware.

Why MFPB? I'd look for something wrong with the scanner first.

Disconnect DF and remove dual scan board. Does it scan correct that way?

I guess mfpb problem because when I scan to the userbox and I zoom in on the machine there will be a picture like a damaged TV when i the zoom out it will disappear, if i print from the userbox all is fine.I changed ram/eMMcb and hdd already but no luck.

Yes correct but my senior said change scanner board first if still same then proceed mfpb

What do you mean? If i take out the board how can i scan?

Scanner board is for dual scanner DADF only. But the problem is also showing from glass. Am I right???

Disconnect the Document Feeder and Remove Dual Scan Board from the machine and scan from Platen Glass.

You claimed problem from both glass and DF right? Without DF you still should be able to scan from glass.

This is nothing to do with df. Scanner and df not sharing board thy are separate.btw thanks for your opinion.

Just do what he said and disconnect the adf and ds board. DS can board can cause all kinds of issues unrelated to the ADF.

Agree with this statement... had a ds board go bad and cause erratic print issues with a c454e..

Sometimes you should follow advice even it is not clearly logic, especially with some strange problem like this one.
