Bizhub 4700P MICR Toner

We have a couple bizhub 4700p's in the field that are now being requested to use MICR toner for check printing. Apparently the drum has to be replaced with when installing the MICR cartridge. Could one of our fellow techs provide insight, or knoweldge of the print quality (background, shading, etc) and the overall performance of this scenario would be greatly appreciated.

If you were patient, MICR toner would eventually replace all the standard toner in the developer. I'd guess 300 copies maximum, with a 50% fill image.

The reason that they are telling you to change the imaging unit is that there is no MICR toner currently in the developer, and it will replenish gradually. =^..^=
