Customer lost power over the weekend and had a CD370 code on machine, could not find in Tech manual so called Hotline, they instructed us to Reset the machine with a series of Numbers etc ( do not want to reveal these steps ) which completely cleared the memory of the machine. The machine turned on and code was cleared, but we do not have any copy counts for Machine, B&W and Color Usage Counts, Jam counts, Maintenance counts, Coverage Percentage, Paper Size Counts, etc.. have all been zeroed out. We do have the IU Life Counter though. Today the customer calls with a Code of CD36E, which we are scrambling to find and determine what this controls and how to clear or solve the problem. Anyone with experience or advice on what to do would be great.

That code is for NVRAM again, just like your last one. Try to reset it again. My guess is that the NVRAM is corrupt and may need to be replaced. I have had to do that a couple of times.

When you replaced the NVRAM, did you replace the card itself, or did you use the recovery firmware? We are trying to find a specific procedure for this process. The information in the manuals is very vague as to how to use the recovery firmware, and how to reset the NVRAM codes, but nowhere is there a specific procedure for what steps to follow.
When you replaced the NVRAM, what steps did you follow to troubleshoot the problem, and where did you get the information on how to initialize it once you replace it? Is there a specific bulletin or page in the service manual that you refered to.
