Hello,

I am coming to you today because I cannot print on my Bizhub C220 because of the error message saying the right door is not closed.
I think it has something to do with the spring, but I am not sure so I don't want to break it more by forcing something that I am not supposed to.

Here are some pictures of the door in question :

What do you think ?

Thank you in advance !

or the actuator next to it?

best bet, close the transfer door and jig the big door. see if the message is still there.

Is almost always the fuser cover that is not pushed down.

i thought that but 1st picture shows that its shut.

i hope OP can clarify if door wont physically lock shut or if the copier just doesnt believe the door is shut

Thank you for your replies and sorry for the delay in replying.
The door can't shut because of the first one that doesn't seem to be able to get stuck in the right place if that makes sense.
(So it's a real problem and not only something the machine is showing on the screen)

is the fuser door latch in the open or closed position

if its closed it is designed to stop the main door closing as it means the fuser door isnt shut first.

but these break all the time but normal when it breaks it just means fuser door wont hold itself open
