Have a Konica Bizhub C308 that has a missed serviceman password. I'm a self-employed technician from Brazil and don't have Konica's access. Need the step-step and the files to procedure the reset like it's made on C224 models with a firmware reset file.
Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!

This is an imported equipment from the United States and came with the password changed. I am an independent technician and I do not have access to authorized konica in my region ...

I only need to reset the password to default!

Did you try to find the supplier?

Go to tech mode, then Stop- 0, if i am not mistaken, or stop- 0- clear. Should display password boxes and you can change it there.

I'm from.Argentina, and had the same issue. But I am going from memory now.

Do you think it would help to tell us if you tried the usual passwords? 9272927292729272 or 92729272 or 12345678

There are firmwares that will cleanse the MFP & SSD boards but not sure if they factory default the passwords?

He means a service password, not an administrator password.

If such a thing occurs in a Bizhub C224 series, I simply apply the firmware reset (A145FW.TAR) and the CE Password goes back to the default. I believe there must be something similar for the Bizhub C308 series!

I have a Bizhub C308 reset file (a789be.tar) but it dosen't work. I think I need some files more!

Yes, you can change the service password in service mode. BUT, if you can't get into service mode because you don't know the password, how do you propose to make that change?

you might get lucky by booting into trouble reset, hit it, then try the default logon sequence and password.

On 4 series I've managed to bypass password screen if it generates a C code while at service password screen.

Then I just disabled CE authentication

we face the same problem with konica minolta 6136 the sequences had taken:
1-enter service mode (at this point you are prompted to input password disregard and preform the next step)\
2-push "utility counter" button exactly 5 times
3-then in the previous prompted dialog box input password
4-input the default CE password
5-at this point you have already reset the CE to default
6-still in service mode push keys "stop+0+clear" then CE authentication and switch off.

Here is the reset procedure for 8 series and others. You do need to have access to Konica Minolta LMS server for this to work.

Nice, I think I'll steal that attachment from you for future reference as well.

I had to do this procedure last week for an off-lease machine we bought. The LMS site wouldn't work at all for me, so I had to create a Problem Ticket and get the code that way. Took about 5 minutes total.

I don't work on production equipment so i don't know if this will work. The steps outlined in this pdf are only for the 4e, 8 and I series machines

Hi. What USER ID i have to put?

Hmm, it appears that you cannot access the site that way. I tried creating an account, got a password, but get user id/password error when trying to login. Looks like a call to tech support would be required. Its annoying they would post that procedure and then not allow access. Unfortunately I can't offer any other solutions.
