Hi everyone,
Have a strange print quality issue with a C458, which to me looks like it could be a board fault but just wanted to hear others opinions first.
Iv reseated the boards and cleaned. Updated firmware to X4, and done a mfp reset.
See attached samples. See what you think.

Hi, the laser polygons may not rotate properly. I agree on the PH Unit.

Thanks for the replys.
After running diagnostics mode it picks up an error e30-1 which says there is a problem with the internal memory on the mfp board. Didn't even realise there was a diagnostic mode until today.

I also think PH unit is culprit. From where you get that E30-1 error code after self diagnostics? I seem to miss it in my books.

+1 seen that on other brands...
are the laser lens clean?
PM's done properly and when needed?
try reseating the cables to the PH.

I've had similar looking samples and thought it was the memory but turned out to be the main board. Seems like it was on a C552 or something similar a few years ago.

Its not the printhead.
I had this exact same issue a few years ago turned out to be the MFPB.

Reference this post as well. It's a similar issue: https://www.copytechnet.com/forums/konica-minolta/151492-c448-printing-coloured-lines-marks.html#post1580233
