I have 2 problems on the same mc that I require help and advice on
Firstly someone has changed the 9272927292729272 log in for service mode so im unable to log in
How can I resolve this pls
Secondly the toner levels dont change when I put a different toner in theyre all showing fairly low but not out and if I put a new toner in it doesnt change It still shows the same on the ops panel but shows ok on web browser but shows same false readings on cs remote please help

1- wrong service password for that dinosaur.
2- never change toner until the machine asks for it.
You could have bent gold pins that contact the bottle chip but you still never change toner until the machine says "replace toner x"

A lost CE password can be a big problem, most of the techs on here say they clear it with the NVRam firmware.

Take out all the toner then run full colour gradation test prints until the machine asks for a toner, once you put the toner back in (even a used one) counter will reset & show full.

no need to reset password, he listed a 4 series password, not a 3 series.
(same pw just half the typing :)

yes i agree about how to trick the toner as described but is it really hurting anything with a false message about toner when its running ok?
especially when replaced b4 machine calls for it.
id still check the 3 gold elbows :)

It will only let him enter 8 characters so the first half would be correct, the 2nd half the machine will ignore.

try booting the machine holding down panel reset.
when trouble reset appears hit it, then try S00S01 9272 2x end.
if it lets you in, S0C and set CE password again.

sometimes it works.

I still have no idea if the machine in question is a C253 or a C284 or something else entirely different since a C283 doesn't exist, at least here in the states.

sometimes it works.

This method may work IF default password for service mode is unchanged.

His original post says "toners" , plural. So it can't be a monochrome BH283

Looks like color version of bizhub 283 series only available for certain markets like India.

Thanks for the advice guys sorry its a Kon minolta bizhub c227 It is a colour mc hope this helps
