I encountered this trouble code when connecting network cable to a Bizhub 4050 network port.

Could someone help me with a firmware update for this equipment. Thank you.

I have 12 identical printers, 5 of them have the memories soldered on the motherboard, tried formatting HDD, replaced HDD, reset, clear all data, still no result so the last one remains updating the firmware, but I could not find any. so I would appreciate any help provided.

Bizhub 4050, I can't get over this erorr. Tried everything I could.

We usually see this error on the iseries caused by the Markeplace app or screensaver.

Firmware won't help. The bizhub 4050 is part of the family 4020, 4050, 4750, all of which are susceptible to locking up due to certain network activity. Even if you try to print an internal report, that report stays locked in the queue ... until you unplug the network cable, then it prints.

AFAIK there is no known fix. =^..^=

Error
Trouble code E301 (Detail Codes 0xB### or 0xC###).

Root Cause
Firmware anomaly.

Workaround/Fix
Update firmware to Maintenance Release 8 for bizhub 4050/4750 and Maintenance Release 7 for bizhub C3350/C3850/C3850FS.

Please refer to attached Program Release Information documentation for any special instructions. Chameleon documentation is also attached for bizhub 4050/4750 MR8 with Web Browser firmware.

If the error code does not appear, plug in any applicable cables or add-ons one at a time, waiting at least 30 seconds between any additions. If the code appearswhen the network cable is plugged back in, the issue is data being sent over the network. That will be up to the customer and his or her IT professional totroubleshoot as that is independent of the printer and not something we can effectively troubleshoot for the customer. Right from KM.

Essentially they(KM) tell you to say - " Hey Mr. Customer F..k off! This is Lexy machine and blame them for our decision to put KM logo on it. "

Yep. We had to replace 2 of these with other machines to save the customer. Left Km soon after at took on Ricoh. Customers are very happy.

😆 confirmed my suspicions that only Ricoh can beat KM machines.
