Anyone have issues with Jam 1702 on C6500?

Anyone have any issue after installing firmware v.40 with duplexing (runs fine single sided) and jam codes 1702.

Booklet maker only folds with staples, not without.

Consistent jams every 20-30 sheets.

Anyone?

I was just about to install this version, but I guess I'll wait for a while... Is this version 40/41 from Nov 2008?
