Not a sharp tech, whats the L-1 code for?

Uhm, i'm not too sure on it, but i'm pretty sure it has to do with the laser unit, or it's connections. I'll have a look and see if i can find a manual anywhere for it, although i've only ever worked on one AL series machine so far. If no luck, i'll see if i can find out from Sharp on Monday. We are a service dealer, so I should be able to find out.
Actually, come to think of it, i'm not entirely sure that model is here in Australia. Hmm, if it is anything like the AL-1220 (although that one is Colour ?) then I might be able to relate the code from that. Hmm, not sure. I think i spoke too soon! Hahah, i'll still see what I can dig up on it, or even just generally the error code itself.

on the left side of the copier, under the scanner, there is a clear plastic dial that locks the scanner in to place for secure transit when moving. turn it to unlock the scannerComment
