So I have a customer with a BizHub C220. Can't use SMB any longer (Of course) but they want to scan to their server. So I setup Filezilla on the server and that works fine. Registered an entry in the address book of the C220 and the formatting is weird. If I enter a hostname, when I look at the address book when I try to scan, it's entering \\servername\/ (And the / is just the folder path I entered.) If I try to enter ftp://servername, I get an error that there are invalid characters in the hostname. No better using just an IP address. This obviously doesn't work.

Firmware is (probably) very old - A0ED0Y0-0100-G00-C6(00). Think I need to update? If so, any chance someone has a newer version available? Greatly appreciated.

ok, reread i think i understand
the / cant be there, second did you add full permissions to the folder?
also just use IP instead.
check your PMs.
thanks for being a contributor!

Sorry if not terribly clear!

File path is required (Unless also changed in a newer firmware.) Other threads said to just include / for the root folder. Permissions shouldn't be required for the user since we're doing FTP - filezilla has rights and I can login as the user and dump a file there, so that side should be good. No love on the IP either - still formats it as \\10.0.1.5\/. Weird.

Thanks for the firmware. I'll run back out there soon and test again once I get that updated.

Also found a thread that spoke about GDR-D1 as being latest (Well, back then) for C220. . .? Or is the G00-D2 firmware the last for the C220?

then make one? just to satisfy pagescope at least.

So now I'm wondering if I'm a little bit out of my league as I've not updated the firmware on a KM before. Reading through the docs, it appears I need to get in to service mode and change switch 25 to 20. Is that it? I see mention of "movie data" and deleting it if 1st ver. already installed. . .?

These guys don't have anyone that's servicing the unit or I'd just call them in to update. Certainly don't want to make this worse!

Indeed, definitely worth a test. Will do when onsite. Thanks!

yes, just go in service mode and system2 i think, software switch settings.
select BIT and type 25
select hex and type 20
hit fix and exit, reboot.
movie data not that important but you have it now.
thats under load data, select movie data and uninstall.
put the movie tar file on the flash drive and plug in FRONT usb port and select install data, select movie, button should turn blue and hit start

Thanks to you both! Got the movie data and found a good Youtube showing how to upload. I think I'm ready to hit the ground running. Let you know how it goes!

Anyone got firmware file for Bizhub C220? my machine has a very old one and I am unable to set many features.

Yahtzee! Using a folder path of . instead of a slash resolved the FTP issue. No firmware update needed, but I'll hold on to them just in case. Thanks for all your help!

Screen shot in case it helps anyone in the future.
