Bizhub c360i show "Login Error" on printer. Only by Mac side printing, Windows is OK

Same username and password，It did not work on Mac，but there are no problems on Windows.

We tried three Macs(10.15.x, 11.2.x) , all failed at last. "Login Error" is shown on printer side, in the detail job history page.

What we have checked:
1:We have installed the latest driver
2:To be sure department name and Password are same with windows's setting.
3:Excluding the single machine problem, our three Macs all have the same problem

do you have a good size screenshot(s)? cant really read those because they wont zoom.
also it appears you have installed a driver for a dinosaur c360 NOT a c360i but i cannot be sure because the poor quality pics.

2 things, the driver does not say a c360i and its configured that both authentication and account track are OFF
between those two is the issue it appears.

c360i should have for the 10.15 MAC...

you may have to configure the CUPS for changing 2 sided default printing.

yeah thats the one, just bugs my OCD when all your screenies show no "i" in the description.
maybe in CUPS filter you can enable acct track or authentication by default?

For the 1st thing, It is realted about how do I install the printer driver.

The name ”KM bizhub c360 “ has already shown on the Add Printer Page after I click "+" . Then I selected the C360i Driver from Printer Software list. I don't know if it's right.

open cups and see if you can enable it there.

as a personal note, i always install using LPD/IP never bonjour. its only let me down before.
just my unsolicited .02c if i may.

It seemed just popup function is enabled, After I checked the Account Track checkbox. It'll be popup the user and pwd dialog box after I click the print button.

It still show me the "login error" on printer side.

For Windows version. There is a verify button on the account track setting UI. So I can verify if the auth process is right. But on mac, I can't find this button.

On the printer side, I can see the user name on the login error message screen, indicating that the basic communication is ok between Mac and printer.
User name can be transferred correctly, but the password verification is error. Is there a problem with PWD encryption and decryption? I cant figure it out.:(

Btw, I try to set a wrong password on windows side and print test page. I get the same error info "login error" on printer side.

It has been solved! The printer model is 360, not the 360i. The decoration next to the model sticker made me think it was the capital "I", faint.

Thanks for the great support! It turns out that OCD is an important capability. LOL... Sorry. I made a mistake.

I just ran into this scenario last week.....MAC do not like user and password; only password.
When you create the account tracking users, enter the passwords only and leave the name blank. Name and password will work on Windows, but not MAC.
