Got an used machine, and it says on the main screen, below the Ready to Copy message: "Currently Character Recognition cannot be used."
Is there any way to disable/get rid of this message? I could not find anything about the message, only that it might be related to some kind of OCR function.
I don't want to use any radical solutions, like a reset firmware, or erasing every data on the printer, if there is a simpler one, like a dipswitch.
