Hello,

I wonder if the chemical formula for developer powder is the same for all production copiers. For example, I am using the same toner (TN-622) for all my KM machines, it's the most economical way to print with genuine toner, not aftermarket. I wonder if the same rule applies for developer powder. In my opinion, if the toner is the same why the developer should not be the same?

To be more specific, I would like to know if developer made for C6500 (DV-610 ~100 euro) works with C3070L (DV-614 ~350 euro). Or do you know any economical solution?

Thank you!

350 is because the developer life of 3070 is 1000000 an c6500 is 200000

I was thinking about that, too... Actually I read that DV life is 1 350 000. The DV unit life is 1 000 000. Does it mean I need to change them together?

THanks!

THanks!After 1000k the quality decreases.
It always depends on what the machine prints!
I have a machine with 1500K developer life and the customer does not complain, and I have a customer that I change to 800-900K.
Yes i suggest you change them together!
Don't try to make experiment with developer of 6500 to 3070!
