I have an Omnikey 5325 CL and a 5325 but the AU-201H driver only works for the regular 5325, not the 5325 CL with the Bizhub 224e-554e MFP's. Is there a tool to configure these to be the same or a way to browse to the readers config file? I tried the Omnikey Workbench 2.2 & 1.8.1 but it just says there is no CCID driver installed even though I installed the latest driver and it never finds the readers.

Any help is appreciated.

Did you select "card" in vendor mode?
Also I think pcprox app may help

plug the 201H and the 201HCL into your laptop and find out what the hardware IDs are..the LDD for the Au201H (not the CL) only supports one type of ID..

Hardware ID's:
5325 CL: USB\VID_076B&PID_5124&REV_0510 - USB\VID_076B&PID_5124
5325: USB\VID_076B&PID_5125&REV_0510 - USB\VID_076B&PID_5125

Yes, card is selected in vendor mode and works fine for the 5325 but if I swap them then I get the "Cannot connect to authentication device" error.

I tried the pcprox app but it just says no devices for either of them as well.

Hardware ID's:
5325 CL: USB\VID_076B&PID_5124&REV_0510 - USB\VID_076B&PID_5124
5325: USB\VID_076B&PID_5125&REV_0510 - USB\VID_076B&PID_5125

This is your problem..the old CCID LLDs had the hardware IDs programmed in..Possibly you could open the LDD and edit the VID/PID codes. Km never sold the 5325 CL version.

There is an LDD tool that lets you add the VID/PID (ie using the Mifare PCProx reader), but I think only KBW mode is supported, and the AU201 is strictly CCID. what about moving to the AU205H??

Newer AU205H come in Keyboard Wedge Mode, plug it into your labtop remote into it and put it in CCID mode. If you need specifics let me know, should be straight forward.

I tried the web interface (192.168.63.99) but I just get page not found error. I have the EEM driver and CCID driver installed.

The reason I can't use the 205h is we have about 30 of these 201h already installed for the customer and we'd have to change them all to 205h's.

There is special drivers written for the AU-205H to make them behave like a AU201H..This was specifically made for Equitrac so you could use both as new machines were added that did not support the older readers. You can find this on the KM site under CCID Mimic..nothing is supported past the 8/8e series and the C759. E
