Are there any paper jams associated? Jam codes?
Do you hear the machine-gun sound from a jumping timing belt(s)?

There is a delay in feeding from the tray, so it appears to the copier that the paper is longer than it actually is. Could possibly be a dirty sensor, overly stiff separation torque limiter, maybe access door latch is broken causing conveyance rollers not to grab good enough, etc. The main thing is, the paper is not clearing the tray feed sensor quick enough.

There are no jam codes because the issue occurs after installation.
I didn't here jumping belt. Main tray lifts 1 or 2 zentimeter. Regardless of wether there is paper in main or in sub tray.

Paper does not feed at all.

Check the lift plate height sensor (the sensor that detects the lifting of the pickup roller) to make sure that the sensor is moving/detecting correctly. =^..^=

This is ok. I checked I/O. But belt is relaxed. Tomorrow I check if I can make it tighter. Thanks. I will report.

if this happened at setup, id say look at you wires/ connectors. bent pins?

Paper does not feed at all.

That's surprising. Usually at least 1 piece of paper has fed from the tray before the "set the correct paper size" message will show. I would definitely have expected there to be a jam code if paper never fed from the tray at all.

Check the yellow guide in between paper stacks to be sure it moves freely. Check that tray is lifting evenly.

See this post from copyrooks:
PC-410 set the correct paper size for tray 3 (https://www.copytechnet.com/forums/konica-minolta/130245-pc-410-set-correct-paper-size-tray-3-a.html)
Also I would double check Connectors as mentioned already.

Solved. It was a scrap of paper in the connector behind sub tray. My customer had removed the paper so neatly that it was only visible from the rear after dismantling the tray. (Error code in the meantime: C-0210) Thanks all for help. Have a beautiful Sunday!
