C550 with error C3424

Need help with a C550 with a C3424 error. I tried a good fuser in the machine and still got the same error. I also tried the fuser from this machine in another C550 and the fuser worked fine in the other machine. Do I need to clear the error somehow or what else should I try next before replacing boards.

Fixing unit reset procedure

Turn off main power.
Turn power back on while holding down the utility/counter key.
The trouble reset will appear. Press it, and wait for it to say ok.
Turn power off. Wait 10 seconds, and then back on.
