Error Code Konica C6500 Error C-8403 [Archive]

Hi!

Everytime I open machine I get this error C-8403
In service manual it’s adf sensor, at the beginning I clean it and works but now doesn’t work anymore…

machine starts with right adf cover open, without problem…
I took out sensor, clean it well, no work… same…

anyone had this problem? Should I replace it or it’s other problem?

first Time with a soft brush, then compressed air

second time, took it out soft brush + 99.9% alcool and compressed air
but doesn’t want…

YOU HAVE TRASHED THE SENSOR.
Replace with new.
NEVER use IPA on sensor.
Water ..canned air.
Rookie fuck up.

*If I remember correctly* Try having the entire ADF assembly lifted at its full upright position when switching on the engine. It should at least let you bypass the code.

You can check wires goes from adf to machine, i have seen it damaged few times and all sort of errors because of damaged/broken wire.

I have a few days that I start it like this… it works but it’s annoying…
