Anyone knows if the local interface kits EK-604/605 for the BH-C-280 will work for the BH-C-284e too, instead of the dedicated EK-606/607 for the XXXe series?

hard to say for sure, all references to the EK604/605 have been removed from the US website. My guess would be no, but if you can look up the wiring diagrams and verify that the power, data and ground pins are the same then maybe..E
