I have replaced the drum and developer and run the automatic exposure setting F5 and still have very light copies. optics are clean, aperture on mirror # 1 is ok....any ideas???

Try the following to resolve your problem:
1. set c2 from 0 to 1
2. set c6 from 0 to 2
3. switch off the machine
4. turn on the machine
5. set c2 back to 0
6. make a copy to check the CQ
If necessary, proceed to set F3 (Manual Exposure) to meet the required CQ, then not forget to run F5 (Auto Exposure).
