View Full Version : Konica minolta bizhub C364e touch screen not working

Hi we have a bizhub c364e, the printing is working fine but we just noticed the touch display not working at all. The physical buttons around the touch screen is working, but not any of the buttons on the touch screen. So we can not access any extended menu etc. cannot scan.

What could be the problem? Many thanks for any advice.

Internal ribbon cables or board. You could try a reboot, trouble reset, or SEC if you know how to do them just to see if its an odd glitch. Generally we just replace the op panel if it has any issues. Isnt terribly hard to do, but if you're an end user I'd call a tech

try to plug in a USB mouse to the panel USB.
it may have been a production machine i did it to but ya never know.
seen it work.

Nope, doesn't work. Because I was curious and haven't ever tried this, I just did on our C284e and it lights up the mouse but nothing else happens. Tried it on our C360 and I get an icon that's for USB connected but it has a red X on it.

so screen works just not the touch aspect?

Give this thread a read through, especially post #6 in it. Run the screen calibration using method "b" and see if that revives it at all.

I made an error when I typed that out apparently. Try the screen calibration using method "a". You obviously can't use method "b" if the touch screen doesn't work at all. Sorry, momentary laps of sanity...

Thanks for all the replies! Yes screen works just not the touch aspect. It was working at least a month ago. (scan was not used often so don't know when the touch started to fail.) Will try with suggestions and report back.
