It's the app not the OS.
Use foxit reader to print instead of Adobe.
Adobe thinks black is composite black.
Adobe is aware and really does not give a hoot.
You can also just change the print to Greyscale in the driver so it uses only black but that won't help mixed jobs.

so you are not using model specific drivers?
find your driver here---> drivers (https://onyxweb.mykonicaminolta.com/OneStopProductSupport?appMode=Public&target=Drivers#_ga=2.162368252.1304867764.16434105 72-159761622.1643410572)

you run the image, run the installer in the driver folder so it will put the drivers in your library (not used to install directly)
then add the printer but select the correct driver from the "other" dropdown.
btw, it it set to autocolor? there might be a way to play with the sensitivity of it i just cant recall now.

let us know!

when you first start to load the printer, one of the screens asks for the driver, usually it starts with "generic PS driver" hit the dropdown and select "other software" and a whole list of potential drivers comes up. choose the "installed" konica driver from the list. if it didnt install it to the library try the whole process over.

watch this video, but i would use IP protocol instead of hp jetdirect. YMMV

dont forget to use CUPS to finalize default settings as it normally sets duplex by default. this can be annoying to users that have to click 1 sided all the time.

in [Quality], click [Quality Adjustment
make sure all these are set to black/pure black.
it may print greys as composite black.

then fix the document, it must have been created with process/composite black instead of pure black.
thats maybe why it cant escape printing in color.
ive had 100% luck using foxit reader to print mixed pages that they click correctly.
im sorry you are going through this, sometimes black images or text are dropped over a color one on the page so you cant see it on the monitor but its a color underlying layer and the copier sees this and switches to black overprint instead of just pure black.

I have used CUPS and the PPD's since i first encountered unix based systems. Try installing the correct PPD using CUPS.
Don't know about all the brands but some will only disengage the CMY if a certain amount of consecutive b/w pages are detected.
It will not change to b/w after 5 pages but will if there is more per example. Not sure if that is the case any more.

thanks for your reply but the same text print on my pc with same program same preferences and only in mac counts the black pages as colour…in auto colour mode….I’m sure that the problem is about drivers.pc has PCL drivers and Mac has post script drivers,that’s the reason why…

That is correct. If the RGB values for "grey" areas in the pdf file are not equal (like R=128,G=128,B=128 etc) the printer thinks it is colour.In the PCL driver (Windows only) there is a setting "covert to greyscale" that allows you to set threshold value for RGB differences 1 to 20 to solve this.
