I have a bizhub 758 and a 654e. I also have a 537 and another finisher. All this models work with this finisher except for the fs 537, for some reason the paper gets stuck in the RU.

Hope I can get help.

Jam code?

This is the situation I have, I'm sorry if my description was vague. I'm trying to do some troubleshooting, another person was assigned to this and left it midway. The only knowledge I possess is that the fs 537 is not working properly. I have a c654e copier working with a fs 536 finisher. The copier which is meant work with the fs 537 is a 758 which is already at the customer site. I tried to connect the fs 537 to the c654e, when I do the Machine gets stuck at the boot screen and blink the alert led. I unplugged the finisher and turned on the machine and tried to connect the finisher with the printer on and it shows that it receives power but when I try to copy. The paper gets stuck in the RU which is not the case when I run the Engine with the fs 536. I don't have a lot of experience in this field but I'm excited to learn.

NB: if you have the manual I would be grateful if you could send it my way.

Thank you for your kind response.

fs-534 and fs-535 with an ru-513 are the correct finishers for the c654e.
anything else may start blowing boards.

Thank you for your response. I figured as much when I realized that they is nothing wrong with the RU. In your experience what are the possible issues that could have the finisher not working properly?

Well, plugging it into the wrong model can certainly blow a board or 2.

I moved a machine once and the finisher got unplugged while it was on but being behind the machine I didn't realize and plugged it back in.
It blew the ru board and the fns board.
And that wass on a correct machine

I learned this lesson a long time ago. The damage happens when you plug in an accessory when the rest of the machine is booted up/live. If the accessory becomes unplugged while live, turn the MFP OFF. Then reconnect the accessory.

I really can't offer anything useful without a jam or error code. =^..^=

FS-537/537SD needs a RU-515, which I believe is only for 758/808/958 series. FS-536/536SD also can be ran on those models.
