Hi there;
I have a Konica minolta 6501 machine, and I get a lid open warning. When I remove the finisher, the machine heats up all the time, it does not switch to the ready state, the problem is the reason. Can you help me

So your issue is that the machine isn't warming up (hangs at "Machine is warming up - Please wait") and never reaches the "Ready to print" status?

Is anything obvious amiss with the fuser? Do you get a C-3xxx code maybe?

IIRC, this model can sometimes have one of the two fuser lamps die without ever triggering a code. It will sit in the "warming up" stage forever. Try to take a peek and see if both lamps are coming on.

Problem
"Now warming up" message remains on the display.

Solution
PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. One of the heat lamps has failed.
Use an ohm meter and check each of the 3 upper lamps (p/n A03U M31E 00) and 1 lower heat lamp (p/n A03U M32E 00) for continuity. If any fail the test, replace the lamp.

2. PWB-PRCB has failed.
Replace the PWB-PRCB (p/n A03U R7B5 00).

yes, it constantly says "machine is warming up, wait" and it doesn't go to ready mode. no error message appears on the screen.

I did a visual check and did not see the lower lamp illuminated. I will also check with voltmeter. I will let you know

I checked the lamp and saw that it was intact. What is the next step? Could there be a problem with the gears? When I turn on the machine, the oven does not rotate while it is warming up.

you checked all 3 lamps with an ohm meter?

Need to check with an ohm meter. just because it looks intact doesn't mean it is good. Used to see this years ago on the old 7090's.

There is a one way below the pressure roller. You can substitute for the bottom part of the fusion if you have technical skills.

When it fails, it has the same problem as yours.

Check your bushings in fuser rollers also.

I would check phisically all fusing sensors and temp readings in service mode.
